Oh the beauty of objective and subjective analysis and trading and investing time frames. For sure the short-term SMA with cross from below of a long-term moving average can for some provide a bullish investor indicator. As a day trader however I often find the correlation of the faster acting EMA in combination with the SMA more insightful when looking to potentially enter or exit a trade in sync with any larger hedge or institutional move. With launch of the VanEck Australian Long Short Complex ETF this correlation may be additionally interesting as any bias should theoretically be more easily identified through review of EMA and short flow and short interest records much sooner than through waiting for retail to step aboard with an established SMA confirmation. On all things CU6 I am unable to make a case to go an extended short but VanEck I feel this move by VanEck is worth noting if for nothing else than a broader market case of sit back watch and learn perhaps.
