The left have never seen a tax they don't like - except US tariffs. Why is it so?
They put a lot of thought into it but in the end decided that if Trump is for it, they are agin it.
The last 50 yrs of globalisation has not been ideal, it gave us cheap trinkets for sure, but wrecked economies. Australia has FAR less manufacturing than it did back then. We are now limited to industrial scale agriculture and mining. Walking back the laissez-faire system that favours the wealthy would be a good thing.
