I have been assuming all this time that the increased scope relates to quantity, ie more plants, more power supply.
From the AESO connection listing that does not seem to be the case.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the increased scope is in relation to the funding arrangements. Eg Crusoe and KDP working together to bring in a funding partner for both the gas plants and the data centres,
Or, perhaps a joint venture partnership between KDP and Crusoe, with the JV holding both the gas plants AND data centres.
