all I remember from them as a kid is that it's not wise to rub off the prickles on your hanky -------

it kinda gives you many problems later on ------ but, it's sure nice to know any food source

He's a situation most are unaware of.

If you plant a prickly pear in the back yard and the neighbours put out the washing on a breezy day the washing will get some annoying little prickles called glochids and piss off the neighbours.
