With Ripple already doing cross border transactions, how will a Ripple court case have any effect on ID8 revenues? Do they get paid as a percentage or something, and the court case is restraining trade on people/corporations using Ripple, so if Ripple takes off more, then ID8 gets paid more..?
Isn't this whole company now just about the potential for a big JP Morgan patent infringement settlement, and then what they do with that money?
Their existing tech looks pretty marginal from a commercialisation sense, and seems like its more of a 'potential future cashbox' than 'pumping more cash into something that various management teams couldn't commercialise'.
But I don't know, so I'm asking (not trying to be a dick), because if they get even a sniff of a payout this could rocket.
