You and I are board members of a Multi national company and we meet with the other board members to narrow down the short list for a new CEO, of course at this point some one would have done background checks on the applicants
You find one that has a history of lying, many sexual assault alligation’s, has multiple of his business gone bankrupt and is a convicted felon.
To me that person is not worth considering and should not have made the short list, I would question the HR department why it did
