Lots of speculation as always when a company is in this situation and been good to get a handle on what posters are thinking and also the more experienced with regard to figures.
My attention is squarely focussed on management as I've already assessed the numbers and that is why I'm a holding & a buying.
This situation has now progressed to corporate activity and corporate reconciliation and as I posted recently, maybe a few times that it is paramount that StrikeEnergy reset their position and put themselves properly into a position of negotiation. Company can not continue to play they way they have it would be a recipe for disaster.
Company needs to recognise there actual position, permits YES, prospectivity YES, financial security NO.
They have made this decision to create wealth for shareholders and of course themselves and their change in attitude has attracted market appreciation, it is still for me a permit sell and it is still for me a financial boon for company and it still for me company can then continue in its further exploration & development. We either take a position relevant to where company is or we get rolled.
Company down the track will without doubt be a possible prey, but I reckon we sell WE with provisions and when more time has elapsed for further developments & financial analysis we then make relevant decisions.
For me to much in the oven for Strike to be reckless and I don't believe they are, but I believe management are being calculated and that would be my position in this tough position.
Numbers can be confusing but we must not underestimate the gas resource Strike have and especially could have and why the company had attracted such market attention.
Wanted to post a bit shorter, doesn't happen I'm keen.
