Thankfully for us Charlie has a moral obligation to understand what works 'in human systems'. Good one Charlie. Fiat money ain't workin too flash at the moment.

As for holding or hoarding gold as Charlie calls it, 'Even if it works, you're a jerk'. Tell that to people who have lived thru a hyperinflationary scenario, of which there have been many. In those cases gold can save lives and allow people to carry on there lives as a jerk, unlike Charlie who is not a jerk :)

There's only one irrational jerk or outright liar and that's Charlie, not holders of gold.
