it is a fine line that these LICs tread!
they nearly always trade at a discount to NTA yet they play an important role in our effecient markets
BUT I do agree that if the discount to NTA continues to be significant than the directors have a duty to existing shareholders(note..not possible future shareholders) to liquidate all invesments and wind it up and return the NTA(now in cash) to the shareholders
