    Yeah I have to say after watching this CCC story for the past six months, I have far more respect for TA

    I still don't want to play that way it is not my game, but I think so many people are trading off this basis that you ignore it at your peril.

    I personally buy and hold for a period of time to try for large profit in the 100's of percent. It does not always work out like that, but my strategy means that I am not emotionally influenced by trading moves (in fact understanding what is happening even gives more confidence, as I can see that games that are not being driven by fundamentals).

    Even for people with a longer view than most, TA is imperative when trying to time entry and exit points.

    I would say try to understand as much as you can from both angles FA & TA and you will be able to make much more informed decisions and importantly will better understand what is happening and why.

    I know this has been discussed on here to death, but I have been in working in the garden this morning, my kids are all on holiday and wife has just had another baby, so felt the need to write something...
