Not sure why you are quoting numbers for rail construction when the rail line runs through the tenement at BM. You are right that there is a rail line that runs neraby to Loy Yang, but you will need to build some line to get there and travel through the heart of Melbourne to get to the other side of the State around a 250km journey. That is probably why the State was looking at building a line from LV to Port of Hastings.
