Hi MADX.... I don't want to rain on your parade, but to insinuate that Nasodine was your idea seems to be going a little bit too far. As you state, you were a pharmacist in Adelaide, and your main wholesaler for products was F.H Faulding. Yes, Peter did initially work at Faulding and is a microbiologist and biochemist, and was the creator of Betadine. He created the product that you refer to as a possible cure for the common cold by using the product as a nasal spray. You may well have theorised that it may work in this capacity, as may others in your field. But to refer to it as YOUR idea is stretched.
Peter is a well regarded and respected microbiologist and biochemist. He gave us Betadine, and now has given us Nasodine. The two go hand in hand, and were both created by Peter. His work on Nasodine began when partnering with Stephen Goodall in 2012. That is 25 long years after your drive to Faulding to express your views. That is a long time for someone to get a whiff of an idea (Peter) and then to act on that idea. If it were your idea, and yours alone, one would suggest you would have corresponded with Peter, possibly through F.H Faulding, and you would have evidence of such correspondence.
I think that after the success of Betadine, and possibly at the same time, Peter had well and truly thought of a nasal delivery system such as Nasodine. I'm sorry that you feel that this has haunted you for many years, but merely having a conversation with a sales rep at Faulding doesn't really qualify the creation of Nasodine by Firebrick as your idea. I can clearly understand why Firebrick hasn't bothered responding. Sorry for my response, but it is what it is.
