Thanks for your polite comment and no worries. I accept all you say, except that I don't think Peter gave us Betadine as such, but rather the sore throat gargle and now Nasodine. Betadine originated from Mundi in (the) Netherlands. Betadine sore throat gargle was Peter's idea.

It wasn't "merely" a sales rep that I spoke to but rather someone higher up who had his own office. I told him, to get his $$ interest, that I had an idea for a cure for the common cold, a big claim and somewhat tongue in cheek. He mentioned it would require lots of clinical trials and seemed not enthusiastic and I left.

Now, back to that 25-year delay. IF Peter had the idea for a Betadine nasal product while thinking about the sore throat gargle, why would it have taken him 25 years to come out with the nasal version? My paranoid thinking is that MY idea may have germinated his thinking and he waited 25 years for me to cark.
