DC wont put out announcements just to appease and support the share price for a day or 2.
His mandate is to drive the project forward, which is exactly what he and the BOD are doing.
Will the SP drift further? Almost certainly it will.
Could a new low be upon us imminently, most likely.
Once the project FID is made, only then is this derisked completely in my view. Until then, you make a call on whether you are in or out, and you suck it up either way.
