No matter how positively some posters on here want to spin it, the reality is that it’s never a good look when the CEO and CFO resign suddenly without first already having a replacement ready to takeover. If this is really part of the Boards new growth strategy, it has been very poorly implemented. At this point in time, the market does not believe what the company is saying.
I really hope the ASX does its job and issues a speeding ticket to make sure that the directors are complying with all continuous disclosure requirements.
For all our sakes, I really hope that this is all just a poorly executed attempt to prepare EQR for its next phase of growth but so far, I’m very skeptical.
