A2 is in Vietnam - just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean anything. They launched officially in October 2024 after having a presence through a reseller (bit like a corporate daigou) for several years prior.
The a2 Milk Company (a2MC) has officially entered the Vietnamese market, offering a premium selection of six dairy products, including the a2 Platinum junior milk drink, nutrition for mothers, milk powders, and UHT long-life full-cream milk.
They launched senior nutrition products last year. There have had a tonne of new products recently. A2 Gentle Gold, A2 Genesis, the A2 Move and Immune Nutritional powders, A2 lactose free fresh milk, all in the past 18 months or so.
What about MVM you ask? Well apart from the fact that MVM is producing alot of these products, and contributes to the diversity of supply you were complaining they lack, MVM was specifically called out as a contributor to the recent upgraded revenue forecast in November last year.

Lastly about the "America saga" and you saying they should have rushed in. Well, it seems dubious as to whether the US IF market can be overly profitable for any foreign competitor. Some competitors such as Aptamil elected not to remain in the market, and others like BUB are selling decent volumes but still not earning any profit from it. They still have a foot in the door by doing the FDA process if a clear avenue to profitability presents itself.
