    Optimal extraction would imply the type of facility, which would depend on a number of factors which would also influence the costs and therefore the NPV

    1. Hydrocarbon type & size
    - Gas - subsea completions and pipeline back to shore for use/export (big)
    - Gas - FLNG for export (not so big)
    - Gas (small) forget it
    - Oil - small FPSO for export
    - Oil - big subsea completions for pipeline to shore
    - Oil & gas - Tethered Production facility with attached storage for oil and pipeline back to shore for gas
