No inside job here, I’m only accessing the same public information as everybody else and this is my interpretation of the situation.

The ‘no’ news position is somewhat subjective because I would call the release of the information at the AGM as news or a project update as such. It’s just that perhaps people had an unhealthy expectation of what was going to be released or progressed. PCL remain analysing the data and it is ‘months’ away from being completed. Isn’t that satisfactory news / an update, regardless of your expectations? The CEO also provided a very strong indication, which I witnessed first hand, that PCL remain very buoyed by what their analysis is showing. If they remain committed to finalising the work, I don’t think they need to do any more than this at this point in time.

I suspect that most on HC would understand the path PCL is on - analysing the data whilst waiting for the WDS farm-in decision. Meanwhile PCL has suggested they remain committed to ‘contingency’ opportunities should the WDS farm-in not occur. If the WDS farm-in decision is affirmative then WDS take the lead and we head to a drill. If PCL takeover offers are made in the meantime then they deal with those if and when they occur. Release of PCL’s data analysis when completed and, I assume, will depend on WDS’s decision. How is this not a clear path?

If you don’t trust the CEO, then why are you buying? It must be because the SP in your view is value, which I assume in your eyes the SP is ‘undervalued’ because ‘no’ news has come to hand of late? Isn’t this reason to be satisfied enough, because surely you can’t expect to have it both ways?
