I say the following with the understanding that shorts rarely lose.
I am interested in peoples thoughts on what would happen to shorts if Tesla off take does occur.and is consummated with the commencement of purchasing commercial scale AAM. This is due to happen by 31st May 2025.
Should this occur then I can’t see an easy exit for the shorts as I don’t believe a cap raise is likely before then (may be wrong). If it doesn’t occur I think we are in trouble.
I remember Proga posting some logical thoughts some years ago when shorts first started accumulating (ie trend wouldn’t change until cashflow positive) and am assuming we would be largely cashflow positive if commercial AAM sales begin from Vidalia.
I’ve been a holder for many years and have despaired about our plight. It’s been a lesson about the power of the Chinese government.
In any case I am looking for $2 by end of this year based on AAM sales, tariffs allowing improved pricing and demand and further off takes to support expansion to 45ktpa (obviously assuming Mozambique government' gets their act together). Am I being ridiculous?
Also interested in any thoughts on how shorts are likely to exit?
