I don't think I have mentioned that I travelled from Victoria to Queensland last year and asked people whether they have heard of PEP11. Everyone told me NO. Even 2 travellers from Newcastle had not heard of PEP11. The public interest is confined to interest groups around the northern beaches of New South Wales. I would have to question the figure of 80,000 signatures for their petition. Perhaps it can be an argument presented to court. It is in the national interest that this project goes ahead.... Like the Snowy hydro battery.
