No one has any comment on DeepSeek so I will venture a view. Basically, anything that decreases cost of AI, robots, FSD and other related products that use more electric motors that incorporate NdPr because it lowers the cost is a good thing on the demand side for Lynas. Additionally we have the need to produce in US as the Trump administration is now requiring to avoid tariffs. Lynas should have favored nation status. If estimates are correct then the cost of AI delivery could be up to 90% lower using DeepSeek solution and is disrupting energy requirements for chip fabrication worldwide. All in, I view this as a positive for Lynas to go with the increase in defense spending to 5% of GDP for NATO members.
