CBA TA update, page-2545

You were asking for a reason for the CBA price, I gave you some. I ignored the rational adjective as you should be smart enough to realise the market is prone to being irrational; to the upside and downside.

I own a few banks in the ASX portfolio, the US based portfolio has some too. I can't argue that WBC is not better value than CBA at this point in time. Is WBC a better company than CBA arguably not. Better investment than CBA, definitely not. The only bank in my portfolio that can hold a candle to CBA investment wise over the last 24 years is MQG. They are however not an apples to apples comparison. I own a lot of MQG second largest financial holding. Third is BAC.

I play the long game. Decades long in fact. I have no problem having time on my side and have 3 well diversified portfolios.
-An ASX centric which is an equal mix of financial, mining and agri/other.
-US mainly tech - AAPL, GOOG, MSFT and NFLX. No Nvidia or Tesla unfortunately but that is on me. Working on it slowly or they are on the smash and grab buy list next tech crash.
-Asia - Samsung, Toyota, Hokuetsu, Toyo Seikan Group. Sold out of my Asian miners a few years back to focus on Australians but Sumitomo, Zijin Mining and China Northern Re worth revisiting.

I have weathered 25 years in the market. That is a lot of market turmoil - LTCM (Long Term Capital Management) collapse. This is the scariest financial event IMHO but no-one ever talks about. Brought down more countries than the GFC. Tech/internet bubble, Asian financial crises, GFC, Covid etc I have been at the coalface of it all buying the opportunity. I'm under no illusion there are more to come. The only difference is this time around I have $3m on the sidelines for a shopping spree.

But silly me .. What you are really asking for is validation for selling CBA and buying other banks. You are not going to get it on HC. If you don't have your answer by now, time will tell.
