So you in fact indicated that what the Chinese were doing was a form of revenge, not me. I think it is just plain old-world style colonisation that was practised by most peoples of the world, but is now supposed to have ended (apparently not when it is done by the Chinese).
And yes, the Chinese a very capable of revenge and have long memories. Most other Asian nations actually fear the Chinese who dominated them for long periods. Vietnam is scared and is getting a lot closer to the US (of all nations), and India is very concerned about the bases China is building in the Indian Ocean. For some reason some people here think we are special and can be immune from colonisation? Japan should have opened up our minds to this likelihood, but time dims some people's memories.
