some years ago I thought the source rock is the highest risk. now I think the highest risk is that the sdst is not clean enough. You need high energy sedimentary to get bigger sandgrains, clastics and to wash out the clay/shale. but a 14.000 bbl/d (restricted and not the maximum possible rate) test, like we see in the Mopane is a strong argument for Saturn as well. you do not get this high flow rates from shaly sdst, so we have a chance that the Saturn sdst could be clean (and full of oil) as well... fingers crossed.
PS: coeus12345 I am not aware that offshore production platforms apply EOR = enhanced oil recovery = tertiary oil recovery. water flooding = secondary oil recovery yes but not EOR. Onshore you find some steam flooding, CO2 injection and the chinese do some little polymer flooding. But even onshore EOR has a minor share of the produced oil.
