When you make a trade you don’t have the data in your above tables ie. hindsight. I made the trade, I made a profit. I won that one, others I will lose, that’s how it goes. The fact that the unlisted options traded above the conversion price presented an opportunity to quickly flip them for a profit, plain and simple. I had no interest or intention at the time to increase or decrease my exposure, so carrying out that trade essentially just reduced my cost base/buy in price. It’s very very simple math and you’re confusing yourself with over analysis.
I am not going to “admit that I am wrong”, because I’m not. We’ll have to agree to disagree and this will be my last post on the topic.
P.S. Have you ever considered taking up golf or bowls or literally any other hobby? Might be worthwhile looking into….
