@StuTM thanks for this one bud - real pillar of the 4D supporter community & certified HEAVY!

I imagine that 4DMedical will be come a regular exhibitor/key opinion leader at the RSNA conferences if they keep up their momentum - plenty of good ahead for the team and hopefully investors. Any read on an expected FDA approval timeline for CT:VQ? I'd imagine there would be quite a tremendous step-up in valuation. As for mfg & sales, Philips would be best positioned to help the company deliver on this and allow AF and co to focus on innovating on software rather than hardware. If all goes well (CT:VQ approved) it would be prudent to lean on the established/experienced hardware manufacturing of Philips instead of potentially being dead in the water trying to spin up a large scale mfg facility & sales force. The margins spent on medical device distribution & contracted manufacturing would most likely (somewhat educated guess) outweigh the temporal and financial investments to go at it on our own let alone the risk involved in doing so. I guess it's the same way that authors dont print, bind and sell their own books - they just focus on writing!

    cheers - gltah + dyor
