You don't just acquire land overnight. This would've obviously been in the pipeline for awhile now. Company increases it's real estate and you people start crying and calling it a distraction.
Maybe the company has already maxed out what it can do with their current projects and waiting for approvals; this is just further advancement in the while they wait otherwise they'll just be sitting around doing nothing.
Also didn't they just hire the Andre guy to focus on partnerships and offtake agreements?
They have every intention to continue next steps. Just a waiting game for now
