correct: NOPE, its called black out period before the release of results.
Lets wait and see by the end of this month, into March if HCW resumes their buy back (once HCW releases their half year results, once they release the results, HCW is free to re commence the buy backs)
The fact that HCW is not doing buy backs during a black out period,doesn't mean anything, they are acting in accordance with ASX compliance.
The intelligent small shareholder uses these 'black out periods', to assess whether to acquire (yes I have been acquiring), as there is by definition less buying support (less buying support as some buyers take their ques from the trading, and obviously less buying support from the share buy back, so its a double whammy)
