nick garling buying shares - $2.5 million, page-102

Just to paint the scenario with Nick Garlings shares for those who may not have figured it out.
Firstly the Chinese approach MCO wanting a stake. Needing the cash and a strong partner onside the board decide to accept the approach. Unable to get any of the major holders to sell at the price Nick sells around 25mil of his own shares at 24c to get the Chineese on board.
He uses the cash to convert his options and goes about rebuilding his stake buy buying ON MARKET at nearly DOUBLE the price he sold at.
As I heard said ' a great deal for MCO but a crap one for N Garling!!
This has to be the biggest show of confidence and commitment to a company by a director that I've ever seen or heard of!!
We have all benefitted from these actions and they allow me to overelook Nicks perceived slackness with news and regulatory paperwork as frustrating as that may be!!
