What other countries have you experienced voting in?
There are a lot of places that try to get a good system, but very few are as good as Australias, and I doubt anywhere has a better system.
Overall, universal compulsory voting, preferential voting and the AEC means we have a robust system, free of any meaningful electoral fraud and manipulation.
The lack of voter engagement is a horrible indictment on todays Australia. There are people who dont care to vote, but worse, there are people who proudly claim to have never voted.
