Their industry peer CTM kept drilling in Brazil until they reached a truly globally significant resource reaching to 1.2mkt Ni (and growing). At the same time, BSX sent Scotty to 10-15 countries to paid vacations ('networking'), while burning $100m on ESG studies and an unfinished DFS without competing a single meter of drilling.
