cheers mate. we will all turn another year older. dmp isnt a large part of my portfolio either, most of my bread and butter is with miners. you dont need to get funky with options, vast majority lose over time trying to be too fancy. I do alright, but i have my positions where i would have been far better off just buying and holding rather than capping upside with options, but ive had plenty go the other way as well where I'm pleased i had the options.
fwiw travel wise Ive just been 10 days in India, and honestly wish it was just 5 days and have zero desire to go back. it is a privilege to be in Aus and having the luxury of having a stock portfolio to manage.
dmp specifically my broad opinion hasnt changed, its valuation is attractive enough at these levels and while im not expecting major fireworks, i can see a path towards $40 over the next year which is a 50% gain from here. Every week we hang around here, the technical picture improves as the downside momentum evaporates. Still monitoring IEL, but its on a wait and see for myself.
