"This morning WA1 reported results of pyrometallurgical tests which achieved successful production of ferroniobium from Luni derived pyrochlore concentrate. This test effectively completes the proof-of-concept metallurgical campaign, with beneficiation and refinement confirmed in 2024. Focus will now shift to synthesis and optimisation of a flowsheet for eventual mine planning. Argonaut expects to see results from ongoing grade and spatial variability tests throughout CY2025. These will ultimately inform future development studies. We regard this as an excellent outcome for WA1. The successful production of ferroniobium from Luni ore should attract renewed interest from potential investors who were waiting on proof-of-concept confirmation".
