I was interested to see his distinction between different unions - so often people just say "oh the unions this or the unions that" whereas jono is saying there is quite a difference between a number of the unions when it comes to uranium mining. So i take that as a big positive. Clearly understands the lay of the land and the issues better than most.
I heard (read on Linkedin) he was also over in WA last week touring with Ms America 2023 Grace Stanke as part of the nuclear for Australia event. Certainly keeps the level of activism / advocacy up. To be commended for that as it must feel like beating your head against a brick wall!
Is there some optimism creeping in about the possibility of a Dutton win? Obviously WA is a basket case; but an LNP federal election could really give us a boost.
