The main reason is affirm and zip have different operations mode. Affirm aims to grow first, they spend a lot of marketing expenses to gain market share, that’s why affirm still not achieved breakeven. Actually two years ago, zip’s strategy is exactly same. But after the market questioned zip’s profitability, zip changed its operation mode from growth mode to profitability mode. Zip started to minimize expenses to achieve profitability first. Q2 zip spent a little bit more to achieve 8% customer increase in us market. But the market was not satisfied for zip’s narrowing EBTA.
