That amount of $17m tax credit provision is related to recognised of NZ loss, so it will not affect franking credit account balance.
The income tax paid, $48m, is enough to pay up to $112m franked dividend.
The board don't need to declare a large amount of franked dividend, let's say $25m to $50m, that would be nice income, and would attract more investment funds to invest in NEU, imo.
