Or, "free" options and raise at a premium. say 1.3 or 1.4 now. Now a share is not worth 1.1c. Now 4 shares + 1 option is worth 4.4c. Or maybe each year give out 1 free option for every 10 shares held. All current holders would benifit. If the options aren't in the money do a CR. If they are SH will benefit. I've never thought Instos and Sophs bought any advantage. Never wanting to buy on market, always wanting/demanding something that others don't get
