Gidday Homey, I am afraid I done see things for link as you do at all. The first thing I would like to point out is the liquids you are so worrried about, strangely are being bought by BP aust,, the following is for news bites
Source: News Bites
BP Australia bought 14,000 barrels per day of Ultra-Clean diesel to be produced at the company's first production plant to be commissioned in South Australia from Linc Energy Ltd.
Before that, the Linc Energy signed a memorandum of understanding allowing BP to buy up to 70% of the initial 20,000 barrels of ultra-clean diesel and other clean fuels to be produced at the plant in a take or pay agreement.

Is it possible BP know enough about diesel to know a winner. is it also possible that that something as cutting edge as this would take a long time to clear testing?
The price drop for linc in the last few days is simply the market, coupled with linc being linced (wrongly in the floods) and a perception that they may have lost a sale, given they are selling a coal mine that has no working rail link at this time to the ocean, share market perception can be cruel and wrong often. To clarify my position on Linc, i told my nephew, "If you want 2 good long term shares to start your portfolio, buy LNC and USA. AS annoying as Bondy can be, he is a very clever man.
