    afternoon all,

here's my plan of attack - I never visit asian countries where possible and I will never visit Spain whilst bullfights are legal - etc. etc..

I also won't buy eggs here - the only eggs I eat come from people with chooks who I know and know how they treat them.

It is pretty hard to know who practices what - but some are obvious.

I eat animal, but I rather eat what is on my property - chicken is a problem for me as chooks are too hard to keep (wildcats).
I have no problem killing an animal for food - I can't abide sport killing.

Not everyone has the privilege of their own mobile protein I know, but a lot of farming/killing practices leave a hell of a lot to be desired.

I find people who beat things whilst alive to supposedly improve the meat to be the most insensitive beings - I don't care what their culture is and how long they have been doing it - even the most way out places have communication and should know that this isn't right.
I know we do a lot of things out of ignorance also. But you would think that even the thickest human would realise that a screaming howling animal is suffering - sorry I have no time for people who do these things.

I have been torn for a lot of years on eating animal product - I think it is wrong, but I do it and I like the taste etc.. I strongly believe that if we kill, it should be in the quickest and most painless way possible.
