To put things in perspective on the Australian population I submit the following:
Australias population is approx 22.5 million Japans population is approx 128 million Tokyos population is approx 13 million
Australias is about 20 times land mass size larger than Japan.
Australias arable land mass is approx 489,974 sq kms Japans arable land mass is approx 45,681 sq kms Australias non arable land is very rich in minerals.
Japanese standard of living is high amongst the wealthiest nations of the world.
And some unbelievably say we need zero population growth in Australia.
My opinion is that if we dont want to lose our country by force to a bourgeoning world,we need our population to grow in a sustainable way..
