While graphite isn't specifically mentioned, we know it's one with export controls from Cn and is considered a critical mineral by the west. On this, I assume graphite/RNU could be included in the below article. Otherwise, if Australia can (with aid of the critical mineral tax incentives) provide a stable, reliable and cost efficient source of critical minerals, it may just remove that great big Cn thumb that's been stuck to Aus's forehead for so long.

Graphite has a footnote stating "The European Union identifies natural graphite as a critical raw material and Japan identifies carbon (which forms graphite) as a critical mineral". Anyone with any ideas why the author specified this considering it is also listed as critical in the US and even Cn?
