The closed fund industry is broken in this country. Look at this dog of a thing.
No liquidity, next to no FUM, huge discount… and no pressure to do anything other than suck away fees.
And behind it all a stereotypical manager hungry for money with zero accountability.
What is it going to take to burn the Thorney funds to the ground.
All the while I have to read articles about his drama with his ex-wife, who probably hates him more than all of us.
This thing could sit at a 99% discount and no one would still want to buy into it.
Where is the accountability to act in the best interest of holders… this holding is going to drive me over the edge.
