How does a RE price rise help a Recycling company? which works on product margins not final price. If RE prices rise as you so rightly predict, then so will the cost of buying in the scrap.
Which now that you mention it, has never really been disclosed/discussed. I do not doubt that Tim's "Partners" supplied a few tons "Gratis" for the demonstration plant testing. But I seriously doubt that any public company would be giving away 1,000 tons of used magnets that the Chinese would happily pay millions for. If they did, I am sure that the BOD of such a company would soon be under hostile scrutiny by its own shareholders.
