I think you'll find one of the things that spooked the D+D readers was the lovely timing of this announcement by Dan Denning that a financial apocalypse is almost upon us and to sell up your stocks!

Would have spooked many investors into banking their profits and getting out of the market entirely or just reducing their holdings considerably.
Either way, didn't do us any favours I'm sure of it.
Look what happened to AZM - DML - GRY - PRU - OGC - TRY just to name a few on the 21st....
