Good to see similar grades to the Maiden Resource and I still believe the company is undervalued at 30M.
Drillers must have bogged the rods in a shear zone and needed to wedge off.
I'm curious as to why a parent hole hasn't been planned and a bunch of daughter holes wedged off to save time and money in drilling out the resource. They boys should also need some navi gear on site so they can direction drill from the parent hole. No need to drill through the meta sediments every hole unless it's for geotech purposes in getting structure and data for capital development.....just a thought. I'm sure management and the senior goes have their reasons.
I would love to see some more geology on their sections and possibly some alteration maps and structure? The sections are a bit sub-par. Most juniors have access to Leapfrog or Micromine to create some solid sections for the market.
Sericite alteration is from fluid ingress and alteration of K feldspar and Plag. They must have gone through a possible major structure. Pyrite would have altered from pyrrhotite via increased sulfur uptake as S in soluble and fluid mobile..... typical structure and probably late stage post mineralisation. Hopefully they can model it across the project, the Geotechs will need to know where it goes.
Also they need to add a table of the dip and dip direction of the DHTEM plate. I know it says along strike of mineralisation but it's good to have that information in there. Wouldn't get overly excited about 2,600S, but I'm not sure what numbers Sn mineralisation gives. What was the Siemens numbers through the high grade mineralisation? Was it similar to 2,600?
I would like to see some deeper holes planned as well, more exploration style to see if mineralisation is closed off at depth or if they can find an extension to the resource. That would move the needle in terms of the share price and value for the company if they found additional mineralisation.
Not sure if the company reads these posts (I rarely read the posts for the company I work for) but there's definitely upside to the project and looks like a solid mid tier resource (still no where near tier 1). Infill drilling normally doesn't move the needle in terms of share price unless you get Stellar (wink) grades.
In summary, good announcement but not spectacular, but still plenty of upside.
Cheers
