read this article.....all the big cities of the world are not included in demographia's scaremongering report....
wonder why.....what do they have to hide ???
cause they want you to believe their scaremongering headlines only.....they would also assume you would not know, they themselves are actually in the property game as developers out to make a good profit, from people like you
anyone might feel foolish for using that article as confirmation of australia's high cost of housing...when the article and reports they use are so horribly flawed as to render them useless....
and love this bit from this article.....you can buy a cheaper house in detroit....but you probably would like a job to go with it....you know lifestyle rather than on the dole....but there are no jobs in detroit....
**** demographia is a property/ land developer, who wants the land taxes and other costs removed ...so they can make more money...
****it is another self interest group...
it is not interested in you the home buyer....
but hey that type of scaremongering should raise eyebrows....
eg; extract only.............
The guy who champions the Demographia study is Hugh Paveletich ? a the New Zealand property developer who runs this anti-regulation think tank.
He and his partner Wendell Cox, create this study which compares figures on all major English speaking cities around the world.
Wo-oah there boy! Hold your horses! Did they say English speaking?
So! this so-called international survey only covers the USA, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Gosh! Some international study hey!
Astonishingly, it does not seem to take into account many of the worlds truly unaffordable cities at all. None of the Asian giants! Where is Hong Kong or Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
There are none of the Continental European cities either - no Paris nor Frankfurt, no Rome nor Zurich, no Stockholm and no Barcelona. Well I suppose you could say its international - but it?s hardly global.
