Bluegen units will need to be installed in reasonably well naturally ventilated spaces (just like all gas fired appliances)that dont rely on a fan / ductwork for supply and they need a flue pipe to discharge to atmosphere.I dont believe they are set up as a "balanced flue" appliance with a twin walled flue pipe that sucks air in and exhausts the products of combustion in the same pipe.I understand that in effect they are an external appliance and would need to be installed in a room (within the building)with low and high level louvres on an external wall or some such other setup that delivered the same result.
