I do actually understand this tbh.
But having spent the majority of my life in England, yeah I had to walk to the train station in the morning in the dark, in the winter, but we got used to it.
But all of it seemed worth it as the summer evenings were so wonderful, it did not get dark until 10pm.
People would come home from work or school and invite friends around for a barbecue, or go out with their friends and family for the evening.
Great times we had. Now we are all back in the house by 7.45 at the latest.
People spent money in the summer evenings which helped the economy.
Lovers had more time to flirt in the old days too
Truly, what is the population of farmers as a % of the population?
I guess in England, the summer evenings were pretty cool.
I can see both sides, but why does WA not just join the timescale of the rest of Australia?
It is so annoying when you need to make phonecalls over East and you realised that they are closed.
