Looks like someone might have freaked out about the 'Orange Menace's' move to fire heaps of staff in the FDA's medical device assessment department. Not an immediate threat to EMV but if it is not sorted by the end of the validation trial ie new recruits and/or streamlined approval processes, could cause delays in approvals.
