LIS is planning a Phase 4 production facility with capacity of 500MWh+.
Its 2MWh plant just commissioned cost $10 million and took about three years to build.
On a pro-rata basis the Phase 4 facility would cost $2.5 billion.
Who plausibly would fund this? How long would it take to construct? Who would be the customers?
Because LIS itself has chosen to publicise this it follows that it should explain the basis upon which this could be funded, how long it would take to construct, potential sites, potential customers, potential battery metrics, etc, etc. If there is substance to this plan then LIS should share high level information about it. If there is insufficient substance to provide even high level information about the plan it would be wise not to mention it at all.
